So close to her heart were pencils
That she could n't stop herself from writing
From the day she could hold it well.
She was fascinated by the way
Letters came out of a pencil
As she let it glide across her book.
For a girl who loved colors
The grey strokes of the pencil
Gave a joy that no toy could replace.
As she grew, these grey strokes
Were replaced by blue and black
And sometimes red trails from pens of ink.
Yet the joy she got
Whenever she wrote
Could never be replaced.
First on books , then on blogs
Her strokes let her define her thoughts.
More deeper even than her words.
As the law of attraction states
So passionate was she, that her destiny
Got entwined into a bond with letters.
She was drawn into the world of creative writing
Leading to the foundation of a publishing house
Named Pens & Scrolls.
With fine trails of ink she unveiled to the world
Her thoughts and imaginations through books
Of fantasy, thriller, romance and mystery.
Varied genres of books in literature
Academic and research came to life
As her quest extended to other languages.
Yet each time she wrote
The same curiosity and joy was felt
As strong as the first time the pencil was held.
If this be called passion
Then it could be aptly noted
That her passion are those strokes
Dancing out of her pen.
